This is what I’ve explained for more than a year as a Black woman sociologist and criminologist.

Predictably, my voice as a Black woman is ignored and people continue to marvel over that book while ignoring centuries of writings from Black artists, Black activists, and Black scholars.

Whites are desperate to use any excuse for white response to challenges to and dismantling of white power.

Important Note: White supremacy includes whites being celebrated for a book about “white fragility” and whites being celebrated for dismissing a book about “white fragility.”
